Learn How to Retire Rich
in The Philippines

[Libay Bay Philippines]
Worried about when you can retire...and on what? I'm Jerry Martin, founder and president of the Better Internet Bureau, and I have discovered some astonishing facts that could completely change the way you look at money...and at retirement.

If you'll invest the next several minutes reviewing this page, you will conclude that it is absolutely possible for you to retire as a millionaire in the Philippines. Age makes no difference: even if you are in your twenties, you can retire in three years by studying the offering shown below.

CURRENCY CONVERSION & FLUCTUATION

Before I show you how to retire as a millionaire, in the Philippines, think about this: how much money is one million dollars?

If you live in the United States, you must accumulate the equivalent of one million US dollars before you could claim the title of millionaire. If you live in Canada, and accumulate one million Canadian dollars...you are a millionaire in Canada but not in the United States, you are only worth approximately $948,062 US.

Why? Daily rate fluctuations...a Canadian dollar is currently valued at about .95 US cents. To learn the exact exchange rate, click to access the Currency Converter

So....being a millionaire is relative to where you live and the type of assets you can convert into local currency.

You've probably figured out that all you have to do to become a millionaire is find a country that has an extremely high conversion rate, then put a plan in motion to accumulate enough home dollars to make the conversion.

CHOOSING A RETIREMENT DESTINATION

I have chosen the Philippines as my retirement destination for the following reasons:

  • It is a tropical paradise consisting of 7,100 islands and islets, lying about 500 miles off the southeast coast of Asia
  • The people are friendly
  • The cost of living is very low
  • There are unlimited recreational opportunities

Retiring in the Philippines does not mean I will be sitting on the beach sipping iced tea. I plan to leave the rat race and, in a more leisurely manner, explore both recreational and financial opportunities that do not require my full-time attention.

Driving either a Jeepney or a Tricycle (see photos top right) is a respected occupation in the Philippines, a land of unlimited financial opportunities. The country is just starting to develop . . . and no matter what your interests, you can turn them into ethical, profitable ventures. Click to see a map of the Philippines

The main reason I selected the Philippines as my retirement destination is the conversion rate of their money. As I write this...one US dollar is worth 55 Philippine pesos. A peso is a Philippine dollar. That means I need only $21,800.00 US dollars to be a millionaire in this beautiful tropical country.

Although I am a Canadian I don't convert Canadian dollars to pesos, because I work full time on the Internet and get paid in US dollars.

DEMOGRAPHICS
During my research, I came across an interesting . . . and, I believe, the most recent . . . government study. A Family Income And Expenditures Surrey shows that the average annual family income in the Philippines was estimated at 123,881 Philippine pesos which is equivalent to approximately $2,700.00 US dollars.

The report also shows a breakdown of major expenditure items in the family budget:

  1. Food 43.9%
  2. Housing 15.4%
  3. Transportation and Communications 5.6%
  4. Household Furnishing and Equipment 5.3%
  5. Education 3.7%
An average family, in the Philippines, spends $27.29 US dollars per week on food and under $10.00 US per week for housing.

Perhaps the Philippines is the place to buy or build the dream home you've always wanted. Philippines Dream Home
